Sanctuary Nile Adventurer back in service after a Sophisticated Makeover

Sanctuary Nile AdventurerThe “Sanctuary Nile Adventurer” has long been regarded as one of the best boutique ships on the Nile, nominated by National Geographic as one of its ‘journeys of a lifetime’.

And now that ‘journey’ is about to become even more memorable, with the ship recommencing its luxurious 4-day sailings along this epic river following a dramatic makeover unveiled late last month.

The ship shows off a completely new look and color scheme, combining contemporary decor with accents alluding to 7,000 years of Egyptian heritage.

All 32 cabins and suites are being remodeled with new fabrics, brass pendant lamps, and headboards with embedded lighting. There are two spacious Junior Suites, outfitted with a new private dining space and “floating” vanity. In the two Presidential Suites, expect enormous windows overlooking the Nile, private balconies and a regal, “floating” four-poster bed. All rooms are air-conditioned.

New facilities include an open-air gym on the deck, a new bar in the lounge, and a spa equipped with a “floating” bed for treatments. The restaurant is also being transformed with a dramatic central display area for the chefs. Expect onboard cooking lessons to be offered as well.

Sanctuary Retreats currently operates four ships on the Nile: Sanctuary Sun Boat III, Sanctuary Sun Boat IV, Sanctuary Nile Adventurer and Sanctuary Zein Nile Chateau.
