Heritage Line launches a new luxury vessel “Ylang” plying Lan Ha Bay, in North Vietnam
Ylang will be the latest addition to Heritage Line’s collection of top luxury vessels cruising the unspoiled waters of Lan Ha Bay (Lan Ha Bay is a quiet extension of the famed Halong Bay).
Officially on sale since first December 2018, this “sensuous belle” Ylang will have her first cruise in August 2019 with its very unique and dedicated 3-days/2-nights journey named “Senses of Lan Ha”. The cruise explores the captivating and remote regions of Lan Ha Bay offering a wonderful medley of on- and off-shore experiences.
The vessel’s maiden voyage is schedule on the 17 August 2019 including two overnights in the serene Lan Ha Bay and is the only dedicated 2-night luxury vessel in this region. Ylang’s passenger start their journey from a pier on the small island Cat Hai near the city of Hai Phong (approx. 1,5 hrs drive from Hanoi).
The journey embraces distinctive experiences and includes wonderful active excursions from cycling to leisure hiking on the island of Cat Ba and an exploration of a remote Lan Ha Bay fishing village. All excursions are perfectly paired with a nicely balanced wellness leitmotif on the vessel including a half day for guests “at their own pace and choice” to choose from swimming, kayaking or spa and yoga.
Ylang features a splendid blend of Asian-Vietnamese design with Indochinese accents. This ancient flair of Indochina emanates throughout the entire vessel showcasing a delicate floral design theme. Local artisans contributed to Ylang’s decoration with hand-crafted paintings and artwork using various materials and techniques.
All ten suites are dedicated to a particular blossom which typically represents a season in Vietnam. Among these are four high-end Regent Suite with floor space up to 54 sqm (581 sqft). All Regent Suites are individually designed, the front facing premium suites feature a Jacuzzi on their balcony. Ylang emanates an inimitable sense of bliss and is an exceptional abode at sea.
