Summer cruise ship season starts at American Samoa

American Samoa’s Summer Cruise Ship Season kicked off yesterday (Oct. 11), with the arrival of Princess Cruise’s vessel the Golden Princess into Pago Pago Harbor.

The ship carrying 4258 passengers and crew is on a 29 night voyage from Los Angeles, USA to Sydney, Australia. The ship will be based in Australia for the summer.

Five more ships will call into Pago Pago Harbor for the remainder of the year: November 5th, Emerald Princess; 9th Seabourn Sojourn; 20th Seven Seas Mariner; December 1st Regatta; and 8th Amsterdam.

For American Samoa’s 2019 Season, 18 ships have confirmed visits, while for the 2020, 14 ships have confirmed so far.
