The American Queen Steamboat Company, operator of the U.S.-flagged American Queen, is giving travelers the chance to ride the Columbia River. Because of consumer demand, three new cruises on the American Empress are now part of the boat’s 2018 schedule with five-day sailings out of Portland for a round trip voyage.
