Celebrate The Festive Season On The High Seas With World Dream
“It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas” on board Asia’s newest luxury cruise ship World Dream this December! Transforming into a Winter Wonderland of fun, a delightful range of Christmas and New Year’s activities, seasonal dining selections, enlightening enrichment sessions and the ever-popular Little Dreamers programme on board World Dream will spread festive cheer to guests of all ages.
Happy Holidays on World Dream
For a Sparkling Holiday at Sea, World Dream’s elves are crafting up some family fun for Christmas in their workshop. Appealing to every type of traveller – whether with kids, a significant other or extended family – no one will be bored while on board World Dream!
Christmas will be magical for kids with festive workshops to keep little hands busy – decorate gingerbread men for a sweet personalized gift, hand print Santa for an original work of art or deck the halls with Christmas wreath paper crafts.
For that special someone in your life, wander through the on board Christmas market and browse from a selection of fine jewellery, designer watches and fragrances for an indulgent gift or two that would make even Santa jealous!
No matter if you have the voice of Cher or if most people wish you wouldn’t “share” so much, there’s family fun to be had with merry Christmas Carolling accompanied by World Dream’s accomplished musicians and even the big man himself – Santa Claus!
All that activity burns calories so fill up hungry bellies with an assortment of traditional holiday fare (think roast turkey with stuffing, baked ham and all the trimmings) complimented by Yuletide specialties including freshly baked German stollen, mulled wine for the adults and gingerbread cookies for the young and young at heart.
Christmas at sea means seafood and World Dream delivers with a menu featuring poached lobster, sweet prawns and New Zealand green mussels. For a less traditional yet still delicious meal, indulge in delectable, authentic Chinese cuisine in one of World Dream’s many dining outlets.
Countdown to Christmas on December 24th with a scintillating Christmas Eve party beginning with a sumptuous holiday dinner followed by dancing and a Yuletide show complete with lasers and fireworks to light the way for Santa’s arrival; end 2017 incognito by celebrating New Year’s Eve at our mysterious masquerade ball featuring enthralling entertainment and dazzling spectacle.
A World (Dream) to Discover
Complementing the holiday offerings, World Dream’s schedule of enrichment events will provide opportunities to learn new skills, gain insights and enhance life for the greenest guest to the most well-seasoned passenger.
Tiny travellers can partake in World Dream’s new Little Dreamers winter programs featuring Etiquette Classes, Little Martial Arts Master, Dress-Up Parties and Balloon Twisting Classes for children and, for a sure recipe for fun, World Dream will also host the Dream Cruises x ABC Cooking Studio Cooking Competition for kids aged 4 – 12 to find the next Junior Chef on board (Departs on 2ed Feb 2018).
For budding thespians, Shakespeare4All, one of Hong Kong’s leading performing arts education organizations, will host workshops at sea, leading children aged 5-7 and 8-11 to discover the magic of classical literature, explore their dramatic skills, and build fluency and confidence in English by performing the best-loved Shakespearean plays, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet and The Tempest (Shakespeare at Sea, Depart on 17th Dec 2017, 28th Jan 2018 and 4th Feb 2018).
For our “bigger dreamers”, World Dream will help passengers define, divine and design through expert advice delivered by professional speakers covering a wide range of life enhancing topics.
Define your personal colour palette with image consultant and style blogger Pavleta Petrova and find out once and for all if Asian’s really shouldn’t wear yellow (Colour Me Beautiful, departs on 10th Dec 2017). Divine the meanings of those seemingly incoherent nightly images playing in your mind’s eye with dream psychologist Ian Wallace (Dream Reader: Learn the Meaning of Your Dreams, departs on 7th Jan 2018).
