Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines appoints Mathew Foxcroft as new Field Sales Manager

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines is pleased to announce the appointment of Mathew Foxcroft as its new Field Sales Manager. Mathew has been promoted from his previous role as Account Manager, and will be responsible for managing Fred. Olsen’s Field Sales team of Account Managers, whilst continuing to work with selected travel agents.

Mathew has worked for Fred. Olsen since 2007, and has fulfilled a number of roles within the Sales Department of the cruise line during that time, including Area Sales Executive and Account Manager.

Speaking of his new appointment, Mathew Foxcroft said:

“I am looking forward to building on our existing relationships with our travel trade partners in what is an exciting time for the company. With the extensive new fly-cruise programme and the launch of the new river cruise programme, there are extensive promotional opportunities that we now have.

“I know we already have a great team of account managers, backed up by our Trade Support department, so I am looking forward to working closely with them to further promote the Fred. Olsen difference and the small ship experience that makes our brand so unique.”

Mike Evans, Head of Sales for Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines, said:

“I am delighted that Mathew has been successful and has accepted this promotion, which is well deserved. It is all about his dedication and skills he can bring to the role and I am sure this appointment will be met with universal approval from our trade partners, many of whom Mathew has worked closely with over the past 10 years.”

Mathew Foxcroft’s new appointment reflects Fred. Olsen’s increased commitment to working with the travel trade. This follows Mike Evan’s promotion to Head of Sales in April 2017, and a major restructure of the Trade Support team, led by Becky Smith, Trade Support Manager, and reporting into Kate Wooldridge, Sales Services and Communications Manager.
