It’s time to grab your detective hat because on Saga’s Johannes Brahms M is for Mystery

The Johannes BrahmsWhen Saga says it’s a mystery river cruise, the over-50s holiday company really puts the M in mystery! Guests need to put on their detective hat because the only information they receive before boarding MS Johannes Brahms is that their flight takes off from Heathrow Airport.

The guests do not know which country, river or destination they will call into each day.

The itinerary is revealed day-by-day and MS Johannes Brahms calls at eight unknown ports, three of which are new to Saga, plus there are five mystery tours.

Guests can be assured of fun times guessing the direction of travel on the small, elegant river cruise ship. The all-inclusive sailing also features a free bar, open 12 hours a day, which serves non-branded alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including wines, sparkling wine and beer.

Meals are served in the comfortable restaurant with a buffet-style breakfast and lunch while in the evenings a four-course dinner is waiter-served.

MS Johannes Brahms carries a maximum of 80 passengers and 20 crew and has the advantage of navigating routes where larger vessels cannot sail. The atmosphere is warm and informal – perfect for making new friends – while trying to work out the route!
