The Port of Brindisi is expecting approximately 10 ships and 100,000 passengers to call in 2017

New ships visiting the port will be Seabourn Cruises’ Seabourn Encore and Seabourn Odyssey, Ponant Cruises’ Le Lyrial, Crystal Cruises’ Crystal Serenity, and Premiere Cruises’ Serenissima.

The area of Salento, just 30 minutes-drive from the port, is an undiscovered land of cultural and historical interest. Also Ostuni, the so called white town, is only 20 minutes from the Port. Or you can also reach, in 1- hour drive both Alberobello, ‘trulli’ capital and UNESCO world heritage site, or Taranto, ancient capital of Magna Grecia with its newly opened and world famous MarTA Museum.

Last year, Brindisi inaugurated a new cruise terminal, housing ticketing area, baggage handling, Customs and Border Agency area and security operations. The project was developed by the Port Authority of Brindisi at an investment of €300,000 and involved the renovation of an existing building located in the heart of the port.
