Princess Cruises Appoints Negin Kamali Director of Public Relations

Negin brings nearly 17 years of expertise in the public relations field developing communications strategies, creating innovative programs and managing public relations for major consumer lifestyle brands like Mattel, Nestlé and a portfolio of wine brands within Ste. Michelle Wines Estates including Columbia Crest and Chateau Ste. Michelle.

Prior to joining Princess, Negin was an executive director in the Los Angeles office of Golin. She spent 15 years at the agency developing and implementing award-winning programs for clients in the travel, food and wine, entertainment and consumer packaged goods industries.

During her time at Golin, Negin managed the Princess Cruises and Cunard Line accounts, spending seven years leading the Cunard Line account team. During that time she worked on the launch of Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Elizabeth, and developed programs to help increase media coverage for the brand. Within this role, Negin also supported several major initiatives including the launch of Cunard’s social media channels, the 2011 Rose Parade Float, onboard enrichment programming, in-port functions and familiarization trips.

Negin earned a master’s degree in corporate public relations from Boston University and received her bachelor of arts in communication from the University of California, San Diego, with a minor in law and society.

She is active in the public relations professional community, having served on the board of the Los Angeles chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA-LA) from 2011- 2013, and guest lecturing at various area universities.
