First ever Seven New Wonders of World cruise launched

For the first time ever travellers will now be able to visit all seven new wonders of the world on one cruise holiday. The epic voyage, launched by Bolsover Cruise Club, will see travellers experience some of the world’s most exclusive hotels and cruise ships over the course of the 165-day journey.

However, just as not every ancient building can claim to be a wonder of the world not every would-be voyager will be able to set sail on this journey.

Instead only seven lucky people – one for each wonder – will get to experience this one-of-a-kind trip, and they will have just seven days to book, with places going on a first-come-first-served basis.

Priced at £117,000 this holiday of a lifetime will go on sale at 8am GMT on 1 September 2016 and anyone interested in setting sail should register their interest first at bolsovercruiseclub.com. Bookings for the Seven New Wonders cruise will close on 5pm GMT 8 September.

The seven successful travellers will jet off from Heathrow on New Year’s Day 2017, embarking on a voyage that will incorporate stays in nine luxury hotels and on seven individual cruise ships, including the Queen’s ocean liner of choice, Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 and a ship which has been deemed to be ‘the most luxurious cruise ship ever built’.

The voyage will visit Machu Picchu, Christ the Redeemer, Chichen Itza, the Taj Mahal, The Lost City of Petra, the Roman Colosseum and the Great Wall of China, with five-star stays in destinations including Miami, Buenos Aires, the Seychelles, Singapore, Rome and Beijing providing a break from the seas in between the sights. In total, the voyage will span distance of over 97,000 miles.

Over the course of almost six months, travellers on the Seven New Wonders of the World cruise will enjoy:

· Seven different cruise ships, including a 10-night sailing on ‘the most luxurious ship at sea’

· All-suite accommodation at hotels including Four Seasons Buenos Aires and Miami’s The Ritz-Carlton South Beach

· First and business class flights throughout

Michael Wilson, Managing Director of Bolsover Cruise Club, said: “This cruise is without a shadow of doubt the most luxurious way to see the seven new wonders.

“We wanted to keep this cruise exclusive and only offer seven places in seven days in honour of the wonders and there being seven of them – there’s no arguing with the fact that whoever the lucky seven are they’re in for an unforgettable experience.

“The sights themselves are impressive enough and the ships are the best on the seas, but combine that with stays in the best suites of luxury hotels including those of the renowned Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton groups, plus an incredible 13-night stay in the exclusive villas of the beautiful Maia Luxury Resort & Spa in the Seychelles, and it is impossible to deny that this really is the holiday of a lifetime. “

This is the second world-first cruise Bolsover has launched in as many months, following the ultimate cruise for movie fans that opened in July, which was the first time travellers have ever been asked to pass an entrance exam before they could book voyage.
