Victoria Cruises Partners With Asian Vistas for Comprehensive Yangtze River Tours
Victoria Cruises and Asian Vistas are offering a 12-day Yangtze River Voyage by Private Car providing travelers with the opportunity to experience China’s panoramic cities on land and sea.
The 12-day voyage features a four-day Yangtze River cruise aboard one of Victoria’s five-star ships. Passengers will journey from Chongqing to Yichang, exploring China’s scenic Shibaozhai, the Three Gorges Dam and one of the Yagntze’s tranquil tributaries via traditional Chinese sampan (excursions may be substituted based on river conditions and scheduling factors).
Additional cities included in the comprehensive 12-day tour are Beijing, Xi’an and Shanghai, where patrons will tour some of China’s most notable national treasures including the Great Wall, the Terra Cotta Warrior exhibit and the Jade Buddha Temple.
“We continue to use Victoria Cruises as our exclusive Yangtze River cruise operator because as an American company, Victoria understands the needs of western travelers. In addition to continually maintaining and upgrading its fleet, what sets Victoria apart is its ‘software’-the quality of its staff of western cruise directors, knowledgeable river guides, and its accommodating local staff,” said Richard Krieger, President of Asian Vistas. “Victoria also receives high marks for its wonderful onboard dining, in both its Dynasty Dining room and a la carte restaurant.”
The 12-day package starts at $2,295 per person, based on double occupancy, and includes: all accommodations; daily breakfast, eight lunches and six dinners; sightseeing tours by private car; shore excursions; expert tour guides; and all transfers upon arrival and departure by private car. A single room supplement starts at $745.
China visa fees and internal airfare are not included. Internal airfare begins at $645 per person, including taxes and $50 fuel surcharge. Rates vary by gateway and are subject to change until paid and ticketed.
For travelers looking for additional explorations, an optional extension to explore Guilin and Hong Kong is available at an additional cost.
“We value our longstanding relationship with Asian Vistas. We know that Asian Vistas has over many years built a reputation for quality and meticulous attention to detail, with a wide variety of itineraries tailored for the most discerning clients,” said Larry Greenman, Manager of Public Relations and Customer Service for Victoria Cruises.
