Louise Robinson appointed Editor of World of Cruising Magazine
Former Fleet Street journalist Louise Robinson is to take the helm at World of Cruising magazine. Robinson, who was editor of the Sunday Express’s S Magazine for 12 years, replaces John Honeywell, who moves to become Editor At Large.
She said: “I love cruising and I love magazines, so this is my dream job. It is such an exciting time in the cruise industry. I can’t wait to get started on continuing to develop the magazine and build on our dramatically increasing circulation.”
Since leaving Express Newspapers last April, Robinson has been working as a consultant editor on Saga Magazine. She starts her new role on Real Response Media’s flagship title with immediate effect, although Honeywell will complete production of the March issue before handing over the editor’s chair.
He said: “My tenure as editor of World of Cruising has provided me with the most enjoyable and rewarding time in my career so far. Louise, a former Fleet Street colleague, will take the magazine to another level. Together, we will be an unbeatable team.”
