Turkey travel experts Alaturka to provide a unique experience sailing along the Turkish Riviera
The masterminds behind Alaturka Yachting and Cruises, Murat “Ned” Danisan and Resit “Reggie” Kaya, began their travel and tour company in 2003 with the purchase of their first gullet “Alcyone”. The company has grown exponentially every year.
In 2013 they strengthened their international influence by joining forces with Top Deck Travel and Top Deck gullet cruises, thus allowing more people from around the world to have a blue cruise adventure.
The Alaturka management, office, hotel and gullet team consists of people from all over Turkey with experience ranging from yachting, travel, marketing or hospitality. Team members from South Africa and Australia add a multinational flare to the blue cruise and travel company.
After 13 years since the beginning, they have expanded their travel expertise to include bus tours throughout cities in Turkey, a fleet of gullets and yachts, and a guesthouse overlooking the harbour in Fethiye.
The company provide professional and specialized travel services to nearly 7,000 people each year coming from around the world.
Cruises and private yacht charters run from the end of April to the end of October depending on the weather. There are daily departures from Fethiye and Olympos all summer long with varying departure times from other ports including Kas, Bodrum, Antalya and Demre.
The gullets are equipped with all things necessary for total enjoyment including sunbeds, a BBQ grill, hammocks, deck shower, and MP3 player. A fridge and freezer are available for public use as is the bar and kitchen area.
