PortholeTV Debuts “Porthole Cruise Views” Segment, Introducing Carnival Corporation Brands to New Cruisers

Porthole Cruise Magazine, the nation’s leading cruise travel magazine, has announced that its emerging video division, PortholeTV, has debuted its premiere cruise segment, “Porthole Cruise Views,” a new platform to relay various cruise content from what’s happening in the cruise industry to special-edition cruise line coverage.

Produced in a news desk format and hosted by top British on-air host Anthony Heywood, “Porthole Cruise Views” segments are produced in a fun and entertaining format using upbeat music, scripting, and visuals. The video segments are also intended to complement Porthole’s other print and digital content while providing additional unique coverage to viewers.

“Porthole Cruise Magazine has always been a leader in providing informative and entertaining cruise content to travelers worldwide,” said Bill Panoff, publisher and editor-in-chief. “We took that a step further when we relaunched our website in 2014 with new weekly blogs and newsletters. And now, with video such an integral part of today’s content sources, it only makes sense that Porthole expand through this creative outlet as well.”

The premiere “Porthole Cruise Views” debuted with a segment featuring Carnival Corporation’s five North American cruise brands — Carnival Cruise Line, Holland America Line, Princess Cruises, Seabourn, and Fathom — and how first-time or inexperienced cruisers can determine the right choice for them. The segment aims to define and highlight each brand that is primarily marketed to North American cruisers.

“Once again, Porthole is breaking new ground in the cruise industry,” said Roger Frizzell, Chief Communications Officer at Carnival Corporation. “We are thrilled to have our cruise brands featured on PortholeTV, a wonderful new video program that promotes the many virtues and excitement of cruising.”

Frizzell added that the video will be hosted on Carnival Corporation’s website (CarnivalCorp.com) as well as on WorldsLeadingCruiseLines.com.

Future PortholeTV segments will appear on Porthole.com, will be posted on Porthole’s social media channels, and may be promoted via the featured cruise lines and/or other cruise outlets.
