Avalon to Launch Two Cruise Ships and New River Destination in 2016
Avalon Waterways will next year debut the Avalon Passion on the Danube River and Avalon Imagery II on the Rhine, as well as offer two new itineraries in Holland and Belgium.
The new eight-night Enchanting Belgium cruise between Namur and Amsterdam incorporates the Meuse (Maas) River and Ghent, a significant World War I site, with a full-day excursion to Ypres and the Eastern Flanders battlefields. Other ports include Antwerp, Maastricht and Dordrecht on the Rhine.
