A Costa cruise is one of the most popular vacations this Easter 2015

Key ingredients are the Mediterranean Sea, Italian regional cuisine and giant Eatser eggs. Once again this year Costa Cruises’ itineraries are proving very popular, with a healthy growth trend in bookings.

The Italian company offers a wide range of cruises, the Mediterranean Sea being the destination of choice for European customers – especially those from Italy, France, Germany and Spain.

On board all 15 ships comprising the Costa fleet guests will find a special Easter program featuring “Italy’s finest”.

On Easter Sunday they will be served a menu entirely based on classic Italian regional dishes such as cima alla Genovese (veal belly stuffed with veal meat, vegetables and marjoram, served with green sauce), risotto al nero di seppia con calamari (black risotto with grilled calamari and oregano olive oil), lamb, torta Pasqualina (Easter vegetable tart with pesto and tomato sauce), pastiera napoletana (a sweet made from ricotta and wheat), Easter eggs and colomba cake.

Among the highlights, the opening of a giant 30 kg Easter egg, that will be cut into pieces and distributed to guests.
